We are in the process of officially registering our association in Sri Lanka as well. This means that we will not only be legally recognised as an association in Switzerland, but will also be entered in the Sri Lankan Commercial Register under the name ‘Vellvom Association’.
Why this step matters
For us, this is far more than just an administrative formality. Official registration in the local area fosters trust, transparency and a solid legal foundation for everything we want to build together.
Closer to the people
This registration enables us to work more directly and effectively with partners and authorities in Sri Lanka – and to establish our projects right where they make a difference. We’ll keep you updated here on how things progress.
