During the monsoon season, parts of Sri Lanka are repeatedly hit by severe flooding. Families often lose their food supplies, their belongings and, in some cases, their homes from one day to the next.
Emergency aid in times of need
In situations like these, every hour counts. We donate food and deliver it to where the need is greatest – often in close collaboration with local people and partners.
Why this matters
A hot meal in an emergency is more than just a source of sustenance. It gives families the strength and the reassurance that they will not be left to cope on their own during difficult times.
Once the immediate crisis has been alleviated, we’ll stay in touch – because once the water has been sorted, the often long journey back to everyday life begins.
