In many regions of Sri Lanka, dedicated teachers teach using whatever resources are available – often with outdated or incomplete materials. Up-to-date teaching materials are simply unaffordable for these schools.

We provide targeted support to schools where there is a lack of funding for up-to-date books and materials. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, we work with the schools to identify what is actually needed in the classroom.

Education is one of the most reliable ways out of poverty – and it should not be let down by a school’s budget. Every piece of teaching material that reaches its destination changes not just a single lesson, but a child’s prospects for many years to come.

We see it as our task to bridge this gap step by step – reliably and where it is really needed.
